Trivia: In an interview with CGSociety, Visual Effects Art Director Aaron McBride revealed that when he was given the task of doing photo-real illustrations of Davy Jones, there was talk that Christopher Walken may be brought on for the role.
Goofs: Continuity: At the beginning of the movie when Master Gibbs is telling the tale of the Kraken, Masters Pintel and Ragetti appear to have no knowledge of the Kraken, but later in the movie, when they are rowing the boat ashore, they have a heated discussion as to the proper pronunciation of the Kraken, as if they had known it all along.
